Position Overview
The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization seeks a Mission Systems Performance Analysis Engineer (Experienced, Lead or Senior) (USAF E‑7A) for the E‑7A Program. The role involves designing, analyzing, and validating Mission Systems sensors and tracking solutions for the E‑7A aircraft.
Position Responsibilities- Conduct trade studies between sensor solutions
- Assist in developing and documenting sensor and tracking solution requirements
- Perform complex analysis to predict component performance against established requirements
- Conduct tests to validate performance of designs
- Collect data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance
- Provide support to products throughout their lifecycle
- Support project management by gathering project status data
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance, U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical) or related field (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry)
- 5+ years related experience (Level 3)
- 3+ years programming experience in C, C++, Fortran, Python, Matlab, or similar
- 9+ years related experience (Level 4) or 14+ years (Level 5)
- 3+ years data analysis experience with mission systems (Radar, EO/IR, EW)
- Experience gathering and coordinating requirements across user groups
- Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline
- Experience with E‑3 or AEW&C platforms
- Knowledge of MATLAB for data analysis and simulation
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (if applicable)
Position is 100% onsite at one of the approved locations. Shift: 1st shift. Relocation support may be provided. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain program access. No visa sponsorship.
Benefits & CompensationCompetitive base pay and variable compensation. Pay ranges by level:
Level 3: $96,050‑$129,950;
Level 4: $119,850‑$162,150;
Level 5: $145,350‑$196,650. Eligible employees receive health insurance, flexible spending accounts, HSA, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid leave.
Position requires an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. The role must meet U.S. export control compliance. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required.
