• Develops NDE procedures in support of airline customer maintenance inspections.

• Designs NDE reference standards in support of inspection procedures.

• Develops engineering specifications and other documents to meet customer needs.

• Assists in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needs.

• Assists with development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirements.

• Performs routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements.

• Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

• Uses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.

• Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into materials and processes, research, design and qualification, work procedures, and labs and office areas.

• Supports commercial and defense aircraft programs including 737, 747, 767, 777, 787, KC-46, and B-1B.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.

• 10+ years of engineering experience.

• Preferred: 5+ years of aerospace engineering experience.

• Preferred: 5+ years of NDT experience.

• Preferred:
  Experience with CAD systems such as CATIA and Solidworks.

• Preferred:
  Experience with NDI systems including ultrasonics, eddy current, and radiography.

• Preferred:
  Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

• Preferred:
  Excellent skills with various computing systems.

• Preferred:
  Knowledge of materials science with metals and composites.
