The Member Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tukwila, WA, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Credit Union members. This role includes supporting members with everyday banking needs, such as opening and servicing accounts, processing transactions, and providing guidance on loans and other financial products. The Member Relationship Manager listens to members’ financial goals, offers appropriate solutions, and educates them on Credit Union services that can improve their financial well‑being.
Daily tasks also involve resolving member concerns, ensuring a positive service experience, and following regulatory and internal policies. The role collaborates with team members to meet branch goals, supports community-focused initiatives, and represents the Credit Union’s values of cooperation and member ownership.
- Experience in member or customer relationship management, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Background in retail banking, credit unions, or financial services, including account servicing and basic lending support.
- Ability to explain financial products clearly, provide guidance on budgeting and savings, and promote financial literacy.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort with handling confidential financial information.
- Proficiency with banking or CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and general computer skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to community service and supporting individuals in achieving financial stability.
- Ability to work on‑site in Tukwila, WA, and collaborate effectively with a team in a member‑focused environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in finance, business, or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in a credit union or cooperative financial institution is beneficial.
