Pay Range
The Target Pay Range for this position is $96,900.00 - $ annually. The full Pay Range is $75,300.00 - $ annually.

Candidates must be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, , AZ, TX, GA, or SC. Washington state residents within reasonable driving distance from Tukwila are requested to come to HQ on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Candidates outside the commute distance may work remotely from approved remote work locations.
Impact You’ll MakeAs a Data Scientist, you will use data to identify opportunities that strengthen member relationships and improve onboarding, product adoption, and financial wellbeing.
What You’ll Do- Build and validate predictive models to identify member behaviors.
- Design and lead A/B tests and controlled experiments with statistical rigor.
- Translate analytical findings into clear narratives using visualizations and dashboards.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, analytics, and engineering teams to define problems and deliver solutions.
- Develop and maintain complex datasets using Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Explore data for strategic opportunities and emerging insights.
- Participate in peer reviews and knowledge‑sharing forums to promote analytics best practices.
- Monitor and improve model performance over time.
- Adapt to support evolving data science priorities across the organization.
- Apply advanced analytics and machine learning to real‑world member engagement challenges.
- Build data science solutions within Snowflake, Azure, and Python tools.
- Collaborate across marketing, product, analytics, and engineering teams.
- Make a direct impact on member experiences and financial journey.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of data science experience, including at least 1 year in a business or industry setting.
- Proficiency in Python or R for building, testing, and deploying analytical models.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into insights for diverse stakeholders.
