Utility Route Driver

We are hiring immediately for full time UTILITY ROUTE DRIVER positions.

• Location: Sodo Culinary - 360 Corporate Drive North, Tukwila, WA 98188.

• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Must have a valid driver's license. Previous driving and food handling experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $23.00 per hour to $26.00 per hour.

Summary: Drives company‑owned truck over established route to deliver and sell products or render services, collects money from machines, and makes change by performing the following duties.

• Service a particular route or location during the absence of the regular route or warehouse employee.
• May assist Customer Service Managers with daily opening and closing of the operation, and training of new route service personnel.
• Drive truck to deliver items such as soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items and sundries to customer’s place of business.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines. Collect stale, rejected or unsold merchandise. Collect money from machines and refill bill and coin changers.
• Record transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device; account for cash and product.
• Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; inform regular customers of new products and/or services; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Select items from warehouse and load truck; prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
• Perform routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
