The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Procurement Agent(Experienced or Senior) to support our Enterprise Test & Technology (ET & T) Supply Chain team located in Tukwila, WA or one of our other listed locations. Enable the future of Boeing by supporting our top engineers and scientists with the goods and services needed to shape decades of Boeing production.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Procurement Agent(s).

Position Responsibilities
  • Leads negotiations in contract pricing and terms and conditions to achieve cost savings and maximize value
  • Develops strategy for requirements within our remote order entry system, E-PARTS and GOLD, to maximize efficiency and value of the procurement process
  • Draft, review, and administer purchase orders in accordance with government regulations (Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Boeing organizational policies in SAP S/4 HANA)
  • Ensure contract compliance throughout the procurement lifecycle, including monitoring performance and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Analyze pricing proposals and cost estimates to determine fairness, reasonableness, and cost-effectiveness
  • Stay up to date with federal, state, and local procurement regulations, ensuring all activities are in full compliance
  • Mainly in support of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Contracting
  • Prepare and submit required documentation, reports, and certifications as needed in Electronic Procurement Information Center (EPIC)
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier performance, contract terms, and delivery schedules
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities in Electronic Procurement Information Center (EPIC)
  • Generate reports for internal stakeholders as necessary
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 5+ years of experience working with EPIC (Electronic Procurement Information Center) or similar software
  • 5+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
  • 5+ years of experience with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) sourcing and supplier collaboration and contract management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Level 4: 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience negotiating directly with suppliers
  • Experience with BDS Programs
  • Experience in the Procurement of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical Parts
  • Experience in the Procurement of Raw Material and Standards
  • Experience in the Procurement of Machined Parts, Assemblies or Secondary Structures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
