Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Associate Manufacturing Planner – Systems & Test (Associate, Experienced or Lead) for the Puget Sound area supporting the KC-46 Program and others within the MS&B portfolio.

This position can be based at our Everett WA or Tukwila, WA location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  • Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
  • Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues.
  • Provide producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
  • Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
  • Draft, update and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Support manufacturing build with liaison and support.
  • Minimal supervision. Exercise considerable latitude in determining strategies and approaches to assignments based on procedures, goals, and objectives.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
  • 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • MESci experience
  • Commercial derivative platform (KC-46, P-8, E-7, etc) experience
  • Flight line and Aircraft Maintenance Manual familiarity
  • 5+ years as a Manufacturing Planner

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

This position could be a 1st or 2nd shift.
