This role is a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) reporting to the Plasma Center Manager. The position supports plasma center operations, including donor eligibility, adverse event management, laboratory review, and EHS support.

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, AIDS education, and self‑exclusion.
• Conduct medical history interviews, physical exams, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including standing orders and transport.
• Report medical findings to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

• High school diploma or nursing program graduate.
• Licensed or certified RN, NP, or PA in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
