Overview
Intertek-PSI is seeking a Construction Quality Control / Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. This on-site role involves working with partner companies to source qualified talent for open roles in the construction industry. The position is available to Veterans, transitioning military personnel, National Guard and Reserve Members, military spouses, wounded warriors, and their caregivers.

The Construction QC / QA Inspector is responsible for conducting jobsite inspections and materials testing throughout the Sea Tac area.
Salary & Benefits
The base wage for this position is $35 - $55 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations. What You’ll Do- Perform a variety of testing, project-specific observations, and inspection duties under general supervision
- Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams
- Use specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Maintain and calibrate standard equipment
- Make detailed observations and interpret results
- Train, supervise, and perform complex assignments and work tasks
- Attend project meetings independently without supervision
- Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results
- Communicate effectively with client and project teams

Minimum Education &Required Qualifications
- High School/GED
- 5+ years relevant construction inspection, quality assurance and quality control experience on transportation/heavy civil projects
- ACI and ICC Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record
- Basic math, calculator, and computer skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Ability to work off shifts and overtime
- Ability to lift/move 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to kneel, squat and climb occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One or more certifications: ICC, ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WABO, WAQTC, and/or CWI
