MP&P Technical Analyst 3 (Materials Protection & Performance)
We are seeking an experienced MP&P Technical Analyst 3 to support materials testing, failure analysis, and non‑destructive inspection activities. The ideal candidate will have strong radiographic (X‑Ray) inspection experience and hold a valid Level II or Level III X‑Ray/Radiography Certification.
Required Qualifications- X‑Ray Level II Certification or Radiography Level II Certification
- Level III certification also acceptable
- Experience in NDT/NDE/NDI Radiographic Inspection
- Comfortable working in and around confined spaces
- Must successfully complete required training (On‑the‑Job or Classroom Training)
- Evaluate parts, materials, processes, equipment, and technologies through testing and research.
- Perform failure analysis to identify defects and prevent future issues.
- Investigate failures, determine root causes, and document findings.
- Develop and execute test plans.
- Recommend and validate improvements to procedures and specifications.
- Determine the suitability and compliance of materials, parts, and processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by developing and implementing new technologies and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and consultation to internal and external stakeholders.
- Aerospace or aviation industry experience
- Manufacturing or quality assurance environment
- Materials Engineering or Materials & Processes experience
- Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis
- Experience with Radiographic Testing (RT)
- 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA
- May require access to confined spaces
- Works under general supervision with a high level of technical responsibility
