Retail Sales Floor - Southcenter Square Rack

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll be continuously moving and collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. You’ll ensure a quick and easy customer experience, keep the store clean and clutter free, and maintain flexibility to work in different areas of the store as needed.

• Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays “runway ready,” and is sized and filled through re‑merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers when cashiering with a variety of transactions across different platforms (in‑store, online, mobile), operating a point‑of‑sale system, bagging items, handling bulky items, and ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
• Create a smooth fitting‑room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Maintain a clean and clutter‑free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
• Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
• Support the Stock and Fulfillment department by receiving, unloading freight, unpacking, and delivering merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards, prepare and ship orders, and utilize inventory management systems.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, and provide general support such as setting up special events, organizing backroom markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.

Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching. Handle merchandise, assist customers, and lift items up to 25 pounds (up to 50 pounds in Stock and Fulfillment). Frequent use of hands for grasping, manipulating, pushing, and pulling.

$22.55 - $23.45 hourly, dependent on location and experience.
