Job Summary

Sales Manager – La‑Z‑Boy Furniture Galleries in Tukwila, WA. Responsible for driving store sales, leading a high‑performing sales team, and delivering an exceptional luxury client experience.

• Achieve or surpass store and individual sales goals and operating benchmarks.
• Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to sales staff to improve sales techniques and customer service.
• Promote the in‑home design program and champion the selling process on the sales floor.
• Ensure the store layout, product presentation, and employee interactions reflect the brand’s image and standards.
• Support planning and execution of sales promotions, events, and marketing initiatives.
• Resolve customer concerns and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.
• Collaborate with support teams to ensure operational excellence.

• Training pay: $22.00 per hour for 2‑6 weeks (no commission).
• Base salary: $26,000 per year.
• Commission: uncapped 1–6% on written sales, increasing with performance.
• Monthly bonus opportunity up to $1,500 based on store sales goals.

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of retail sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and financial understanding.
• Strong interpersonal communication, goal orientation, and team‑management skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Experience managing a retail sales team.
• Advanced business acumen and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repeated hand motions.
