As a Counter Manager in the Macy's Cosmetics Department, you will manage all aspects of a cosmetics line, coach a team of Beauty Advisors, engage customers, and support sales targets.

• Inspire teamwork to reach sales goals and elevate the customer experience
• Create lasting connections with customers passionate about cosmetics, beauty, and fragrance
• Review and analyze business performance of daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual sales results
• Develop and implement business‑driven events to achieve department goals
• Supervise proper presentation, organization, storage, and replenishment of stock
• Sell merchandise through effective customer service techniques and professional selling skills to reach personal productivity goals
• Meet and exceed personal and company sales goals
• Work well with vendors to achieve best business outcomes
• Manage vendor events and promotions, including scheduling and execution
• Maintain compliance with all hygiene standards
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

• Leadership: Ability to lead a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive performance and engagement.

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience

• Prolonged periods (at least two consecutive hours) standing/walking around store
• Frequent use of computers and handheld electronics
• Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision
• Lifting / moving items up to 25 lbs
• Constant movement, standing, reaching with arms and hands, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladder
