We are in search of a Full-time Sales Lead ready to contribute to our continuous expansion across the United States. This person will be responsible for store opening and closing operations, ensuring that all store operations in the store are occurring as expected, and providing a great experience in store. This person needs to have strong attention to detail and should be an expert in store processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating barriers to the Store Manager.
The position reports to and receives functional guidance from the Store Manager.
- Supervise the sales floor of Pop Mart employees, setting expectations, goals, and motivating the team
- Act as the leader on duty in the store when SM/ASM are not present, focused on delivering results while enabling a positive customer and employee experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for customers, employees, and store products
- Lead the store to meet store standards that reflect the company brand image, values, and culture
- Serve as subject matter expert on POP MART core business information including characters, products, and company history
- Support company marketing events such as in-store events, Pop-up events, conventions, and new store openings
- Support company Robo Shop business as needed and follow up with in-store Robo Shop employees and partners
- Improve sales performance of stores and meet key performance indicators such as store conversion, units per transaction, dollars per transaction, and sales trends
- Drive sales of key products such as Blind boxes, MEGA, and accessories
- Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Execute Visual Merchandising and Marketing directives from business partners while attending weekly calls
- Install marketing decals, props, and new merchandising planograms, and set up marketing fixtures
- Re-merchandise the sales floor based on product sell-through or slow-moving items, making strategic decisions that align with business needs
- Work closely with Inventory ASM to determine BOH and warehouse inventory levels
- Perform back-of-house organization, inventory management, receiving/transferring of goods, and weekly/quarterly inventory audits
- Retail industry knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Confidence and comfort engaging customers to deliver a great customer experience
- More than one year of store retail experience; supervisor or leader experience preferred
- High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
- Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and implement effective solutions
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and implement new standardization directives
- High School Diploma
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per shift)
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders or step stools safely
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as unpacking boxes, tagging items, and stocking shelves
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment that may require quick movements and multitasking
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions, including stockroom and receiving areas
- Manual dexterity required to operate standard stockroom tools such as box cutters
