Part Time Fabricator & Welder

We’re looking for a part-time welder who will handle welding and fabricating aluminum awning frames.

Rainier Shade designs, sells and installs beautifully engineered retractable awnings, motorized screens, and pergolas custom-built to add utility to your outdoor space. We provide luxury shade solutions for residential homes, commercial business and more.

We are looking for a hands-on Part-Time Fabricator & Welder to join our team. This position will primarily support the fabrication of custom awning and shade structures and requires experience with aluminum TIG welding
.

In this role, you’ll work from measurements, drawings, and job specifications to cut, fit, assemble, and weld aluminum components and frames. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, takes pride in accurate fabrication, and can produce clean, strong, functional welds.

Experience with general metal fabrication, saws, drills, grinders, measuring tools, and shop equipment is a plus.

This is a flexible part-time position. For someone interested in additional hours, there may also be opportunities to assist with installation, service, or other shop and fabrication work.

Hours: Flexible part-time hours

Pay: $23–$30 per hour, depending on experience
