Heavy Equipment Operator

Segale Properties, a mid-sized commercial real estate company, is hiring a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator & Laborer to join our team! This is a full-time, year-round position.

• General laborer work (grade checking and scaling, shoveling, and similar).
• Operating various heavy equipment (loader, excavator, backhoe, dozer, grader, and similar) and occasional CDL driving.
• Assist in training others with equipment operation and safety.
• Work in Othello, WA 3-5 weeks per year (travel at Segale's expense and completed during the workweek).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• You are NOT looking for a "seat only" position.
• Adaptable and receptive to instruction and feedback from more tenured coworkers.
• Seeks out new opportunities for learning and improving skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrates good judgement, organization, and commitment to safety.

• Demonstrated understanding of grades and elevations.
• Able to perform physically demanding daily work outside, including lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, turning, sitting, standing, and other required movement without limitations.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License with a safe driving record.
• Punctual and reliable attendance; attentive throughout the day.

The position is based out of our Tukwila, WA, office.

Work completed in Othello, WA 3-5 weeks per year (expenses paid by Segale and limited to the workweek).
