Programmer Analyst

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications. Gathers and evaluates end user requirements. Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements. Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems.

Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.

This position is for a Redhat expert to assist in the movement of a custom software suite from suse Linux to Redhat Linux. The custom software system was written in C and C++ and is used for the acquisition of precision time synchronized positional and RF data.

• A secret level clearance is required for this position
• Strong C, C++, Python, Qt, Git, TCP/UDP, tcpdump
