We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands from $500M to $1B in the next two years through a combination of organic growth and M&A. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to be an important member of the supply chain team during this growth.

Working Hours and Compensation

Regular working hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 pm to 6:30 am, with weekday or weekend overtime as needed.

Starting rate is $23.00 per hour plus an additional $2.00 per hour night shift differential, with additional compensation based on relevant work experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick bulk and outbound orders using RF scanners, ensuring the correct products and quantities are picked according to order specifications.
  • Safely operate a stand‑up forklift to transport materials, including stacking and retrieving items from three‑high pallet racking.
  • Inspect, load, and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods and maintaining safety standards.
  • Follow FEFO (first expired, first out) inventory management procedures to ensure products with the earliest expiration dates are picked and shipped first.
  • Utilize Sage X3 and SAP for inventory tracking, order picking, and reporting, ensuring all transactions are documented accurately.
  • Prepare BOLs, packing slips, and other shipping documents for outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements.
  • Receive inbound shipments, verify product types, quantities, and quality, and ensure that all received materials match the order specifications.
  • Place incoming materials into appropriate racking based on product type, handling instructions, and allergen policies to maintain proper segregation and prevent cross‑contamination.
  • Perform regular stock rotation to ensure product freshness and minimize inventory shrinkage.
  • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts, reporting discrepancies and assisting with inventory reconciliation.
  • Prepare and organize outbound loads of finished products for intercompany shipments, ensuring the correct products are ready for transport to other facilities or locations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring materials are stored in the correct locations for easy access.
  • Follow all GMPs, Q&FS, and OSHA safety policies.
  • Carry out assigned cleaning tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Be flexible in working both shifts as needed to ensure proper coverage during the absence of other warehouse team members.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of allergen policies and the ability to apply them when placing products into storage.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient with RF scanners for order picking and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems for order processing and inventory tracking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Office).
Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Stand‑up and sit‑down forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Understanding of FEFO principles and their application in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in order picking, inventory management, and documentation.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a high level of individual responsibility.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to learn new applications quickly.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Must be available to occasionally work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to pass E‑Verify, background check, and pre‑employment drug screen.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, bend, reach, and kneel for extended periods frequently.
  • Walk up and down stairs frequently.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. and move items frequently.
  • Wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment) provided by the company.
Work Environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, you will work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be high, and employees may be required to wear personal protective equipment. This is an indoor food manufacturing setting.
  • This position is based out of the Sahale Snacks facility in Tukwila, WA.
