What You'll Do:
As the Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records while supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate account discrepancies
- Maintain and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Prepare schedules and documentation for external audits
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Partner with cross-functional departments to support business operations and reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting software
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
