Job Description
The Trailer Welder will specialize in fabricating and assembling various types of trailers, including utility, flatbed, refrigerated, and custom trailers. This role demands proficiency with both traditional and automated welding equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and trailer assembly tasks following blueprints and specifications
- Fabricate metal components for different trailer types
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure structural integrity and workmanship
- Interpret and apply blueprint details accurately
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Operate and maintain traditional, automated, and portable welding equipment
- Handle materials efficiently to support production workflow
Required Qualifications
- Technical certificate in welding or metal fabrication
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in welding
