Citrus Sizer Operator

We are currently recruiting talent for a citrus packing house facility in Tulare that will be operating the sizer machine, ensuring the quality and size of the fruit, data entry, communicating with peers in English and Spanish.

This position will require attention to detail, going up and down the stairs, basic computer skills , the ability to work long hours standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. We are looking for individuals that are reliable, punctual, and eager to work,

salary: $16.9 - $16.91 per hour

Equipped with a radio to ensure effective communication with the control room and supervisors, the Sizer Operator is responsible for walking from station to station to ensure belts are running smoothly and prevent slots from being overfilled/jammed; informs the control room when the machinery needs to be stopped/started; responsible for unjamming overfilled slots; understanding of specific computer software programs which allows the Sizer Operator to assign sizes to each grading slot;

spray fruit with wax as needed; assist with the sanitation of the facility which requires constant walking, kneeling, and the use of proper tools and chemicals.
