Medication Technician- AM​/PM

Responsibilities

• Pour and assist residents with medications according to Physician orders, medication training, and Company policies and procedures.
• Re-order medications following the Company policies and procedures.
• Keep medication room and cart clean and orderly at all times.
• Ensure residents do not run out of medications at any time.
• Understand and follow all emergency protocols and respond to emergencies as directed and per Community training.
• File appropriate paperwork in residents charts.
• Keep medication room, cart, cupboards, and records locked when not in use.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect. Provide privacy during personal care.
• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life of the people who live in the community by initiating meaningful connections and interactions.
• Transfer orders to the MAR as directed by Licensed Nurse.
• Order medical supplies as directed by Licensed Nurse.
• Assist Care Associates as needed.
• Contribute information vital to the development and implementation of customized service plans.
• Review MARS after each cycle change.
• Assist with cost control by utilizing resources efficiently and in a waste free manner.

Schedule:

AM/PM meds 6-2 ; 2-10. Flexibility required.
