Registered Nurse; RN - ED - Emergency Department

Adventist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Tulare, California.

Join Adventist Health Tulare, a 108‑bed acute care hospital serving the Central Valley since 2018. This staff ED RN position offers an ongoing, full‑time night shift role with a competitive sign‑on incentive.

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups, supervises nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Preferred:
  Acute‑care facility experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (required)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS/HS‑BLS/RQIBLS) (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or RQIACLS (required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or RQIPALS (required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (required)

• Collect relevant patient data, analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develop a plan, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and healing care, offering education and information.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate and coordinate duties of the healthcare team.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
