Licensed Vocational Nurse
As an employee of the facility Level of Care Registry, a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) may be requested to work on any shift, any day of the week and on any residence at the Developmental Center. Under the direction of supervisory staff, he/she provides direct care, treatment and developmental services for the individuals where assigned. The services provided fall within the scope of the job as specified by the California State Personnel Board.
This position is not eligible for telework, this position is in person only. Individuals interested in applying must take and pass the Licensed Vocational Nurse, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation examination. Effective July 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of three (3) percent in exchange for five (5) hours per month of the Personal Leave.
