Construction Manager
Develop and implement Quality Control plans, safety plans, and project schedules
Apply federal construction quality and safety requirements
Coordinate construction projects and schedule project meetings
Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
Supervise daily construction operations
Coordinate and direct construction workers, subcontractors, and trade partners
Oversee onsite and offsite construction activities
Monitor work for compliance with building codes, safety regulations, plans, specifications, and quality standards
Develop dig permits, outage plans, and other required work coordination documents
Coordinate work activities with end users and project stakeholders
Monitor project progress and construction schedules
Identify and resolve field issues and construction conflicts
Collaborate with project administrators and other members of the project team
Ensure construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements
Minimum 5 years of construction experience
Strong understanding of all phases of the construction process
Experience with construction management and onsite field operations
Experience with US Government or federal construction projects preferred
Knowledge of construction products, methods, details, regulations, and quality standards
Experience developing or implementing QC plans preferred
Knowledge of federal construction quality control requirements
Knowledge of federal construction safety requirements
QCS training preferred
OSHA 30 Hour training preferred
Trade license such as Electrical, Plumbing, or similar preferred
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and make field decisions
Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and construction activities
Ability to pass a background check
US citizenship required
