AI Engineer

Tullahoma, TN

The successful candidate will work as a team member to develop and utilize simulations and models. They will evaluate tools, technologies, architectures, models, and test results, head meetings regarding AI with external parties and internal business-embedded innovation teams, and collaborate with lead engineers to define subsystem requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with data scientists to develop algorithms for training AI models.
• Conduct research on new technologies in the field of AI and apply them to improve existing systems.
• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Integrate AI solutions into various software applications or platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product managers, UX designers, and data analysts to ensure the successful deployment of AI projects.
• Ensure that AI systems are secure, reliable, and adhere to ethical guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in AI development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers or interns.
• Document code, models, and processes for future reference and collaboration with other team members.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• BS Degree: AI Engineering candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field from an accredited university.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Current U. S. Citizenship is required.
• DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
