Position: Systems Administrator with Security Clearance
Job Description Overview Blue Water Federal is looking for a Systems Administrator to support the BCITS III program at Arnold AFB. Responsibilities
* Maintain and support server infrastructure, including monthly reporting on server capacity, workloads, and future workloads.
* Manage servers and storage, including support for physical and virtual servers, clusters, print servers, SAN, EMC storage systems, virtualization, and backup systems.
* Perform server backup and restoration to ensure data can be recovered within 24 hours after a major failure.
* Monitor and tune servers on a 24/7 basis, including network connectivity, CPU, memory, disk space, uptime, response time, and web server availability.
* Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade servers while staying current on server technologies and service offerings through research, development, deployment, and training.
* Support SharePoint, websites, and administration by developing and maintaining websites that support web content management and keep information available to users.
* Support Morale, Welfare, and Recreation network servers by maintaining, monitoring, operating, and supporting server infrastructure in a stable environment for all service business systems. Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in Windows Server and virtual environment administration, system hardening, and patch management, such as Security Technical Implementation Guide compliance.
* 3+ years of experience performing system administration functions, including Windows Server and virtual machines, data center management, information technology preventive maintenance, and system hardening.
* Microsoft or Red Hat certification required.
* Security + certification required.
