Project Manager Specialist

Amentum Advanced Solutions (AS) is a performance unit of Amentum Engineering & Technology Line of Business, specializing in the development, design, construction, and operation of unique and complex research, development, scientific, and test facilities.

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
• Bidding and winning work, managing customer relationships and design staff.
• Execute procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Develop and manage documentation and deliverables within budget and schedule constraints.
• Control project work accomplishment versus scope, assess progress, and resolve conflicts or elevate them to management.
• Evaluate the performance of project team members.
• Assist senior project managers on large and complex projects.
• Provide technical oversight for design, build, startup, and turnover of test facilities.

• BS from an accredited engineering school with at least 10 years of engineering experience, including 5 years of project management; or
• MS from an accredited engineering school with at least 9 years of engineering experience, including 5 years of project management; or
• PhD from an accredited engineering school with at least 7 years of engineering experience, including 5 years of project management.
• Proven project management experience on moderate to large size projects (budget up to $15,000,000 or 30,000 hours).
• Strong technical competence in engineering discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to identify and manage risks and opportunities within a business management system.
• US citizenship preferred; experience in a US Government Classified environment beneficial.

$153,600 - $193,600 (range, based on experience and qualifications). Compensation may vary.
