OverviewBeyond New Horizons LLC (BNH) offers an opportunity for a Material Controller supporting TOS II at Arnold Air Force Base. The role involves working as part of an integrated team responsible for United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.
Open to internal and external candidates. The selected candidate may be required to work outside normal business hours and/or extended work hours.
Job Duties- Performs material planning and coordination activities.
- Serves as the focal point and subject matter expert for acquisition of all material and outside services required to support the assigned project.
- Monitors material progress/status, expediting both internally and externally to meet material availability requirements and reports status to management.
- Makes credit‑card purchases in accordance with company procedures.
- Works with task or project teams in planning, selecting, and expediting material required for the assigned project, ensuring the project team is informed of procurement status.
- Plans procurements to support project schedule and be cost effective.
- Ensures material requirements are included in the planning phase; identifies items available from on‑site inventory and researches sources for non‑inventory items.
- Provides lead‑time information for items, interfaces with acquisitions to ensure delivery.
- Responsible for input maintenance, assessment, and correction of Material Management data in the applicable database.
- Performs priority allocations to ensure material availability well in advance of installation requirements.
- Assists with material/property inventories, identifying and disposing assigned areas.
- Ensures task completion addresses the disposition of excess/unused items and material.
- Maintains direct working relationships with Procurement, Project Controls, and other site organizations to ensure needed material is available.
- It is a condition of employment to wear PPE in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Associate’s degree in business management or related discipline and minimum four years of relevant experience in material management, purchasing, inventory, or office management.
- Current U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related discipline.
- Proficiency and experience in managing material in a government environment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations, freight shipping/receiving/handling, material handling methods & equipment, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and operations related to the acquisition of materials, services, and equipment, and of the construction discipline, work processes, and deliverables.
- Knowledge in the use of standard databases.

Minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below. Salaries for part‑time jobs will be adjusted based on the number of hours agreed to work.
$56,000 - $75,000/year at Arnold AFB, TN 37389.
