CFC Recycling is now hiring an Industrial Maintenance Person to join our team. The Industrial Maintenance person will be responsible for maintaining ,troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operations of our manufacturing and production processes. This role involves both preventative and routine maintenance on machinery, mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and related equipment.
Key job functions- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and systems to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently without unnecessary delays in operation
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pnuematic systems.
- Maintain production equipment such as balers, conveyors, motors, pumps, compressors, valves and other equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions and identify wear
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
- Maintain and organize accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to move machinery and equipment when necessary in a safely manner
- Ability to assist shop mechanics on heavy equipment repairs when needed.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Monitor parts usage, maintain tools and order replacements for equipment
- Ensure that all leaders are communicated with daily on any task needing to be performed that may result in a delay in operations
- Must be able to keep an accurate record of regular scheduled preventative maintenance
- Follow all lock out tag out procedures
Mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, hydraulics and pneumatics expertise.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to read technical manuals
Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and leaders on job task
Ability to dissasemble or rebuild machinery for maintenance or repair purposes
Ensure accuracy in maintenance and repairs of all heavy equipment and machines
High school diploma or GED with education through further degrees or certfications in the industrial maintenance field.
