Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an Electrician supporting TOS II at Arnold AFB in Tullahoma, TN. The selected candidate will work as a member of an integrated team responsible for maintaining and supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Open to internal and external candidates. The selected candidate must be available to work any shift; shift determination will be based on priority of work at the time the candidate is cleared to report to work.

The successful candidate will, under general supervision, perform technical, mechanical, electrical, and manual work in control rooms, operating, and/or assembly and shop areas of an engineering test facility.

Supplementary functions include participation in functional‑specific safety training.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to transformers, unit substations, and switch gear.
• Perform maintenance on facilities and utilities generators.
• Perform maintenance on 125 DC battery systems.
• Take oil samples in high‑voltage yards up to 161 kV.
• Perform tests on relay systems that provide protection for all electrical systems across the base.
• Issue dig permits across the base.
• Operate the test truck for multiple systems and motor testing across the base.
• Install and maintain facility systems.
• Accomplish maintenance and servicing work required to place and keep test‑facility equipment in operation.
• Use a wide variety of hand and machine tools, power equipment, measuring and testing equipment.
• Instruct less‑experienced lower‑grade craftsmen.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of electrician experience in the working section of an aeronautical test facility operation (progressive electrical experience in the trade may be substituted).
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to work at heights above 20 ft.
• Ability to work in areas with high noise levels.
• Ability to work in areas that could produce large amounts of static electricity.
• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
• Current U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network access.
