Experience with accounting functions in a property management environment is highly valued for this position. This is a fully onsite role with an organization that continues to expand.
What You’ll Handle- Oversee property-related accounting activity using Quick Books, including rent, expenses, deposits, and allocations
- Perform reconciliations for rent rolls, tenant ledgers, bank accounts, and monthly financials
- Record journal entries, accruals, and assist with month-end close processes
- Work closely with property management to resolve billing issues, variances, and lease changes
- Monitor move-ins, move-outs, rent changes, and occupancy reporting
- Support audits, inspections, and required compliance documentation
- Respond to resident inquiries related to housing and account questions
- At least 2 years of experience in property accounting
- Hands‑on experience with Quick Books
- Strong attention to detail with solid communication and organizational skills
- Availability for an onsite schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
