Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales Tax Accountant for our client on a project basis. This contract role is on-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Key responsibilities include reconciling tax data, managing exemption certificates, assisting with filing in all 50 states, and researching tax changes.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and maintaining exemption documentation to ensure compliance
  • Assist with sales tax audits, gathering data, and preparing reports
  • Monitor One Source tax software to ensure accurate tax calculation in ERP systems, including SAP
  • Reconcile general ledger sales tax accounts with tax returns
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly sales tax returns to various jurisdictions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • 3 - 5+ years of relevant sales tax experience
  • Strong experience with One Source tax software
  • Prior experience with SAP Certified Public Accountant active license preferred
  • Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
