Accounting Clerk, Finance Department – Reports to Controller – Arrow Engine Company (a part of IES).
Job SummaryThis position requires a dependable individual with strong attention to detail. The role assists with general accounting transactions, focusing on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Responsibilities- AP processing: daily archiving invoices, packing slips, business documents; match invoices; code non‑PO invoices; achieve a 1‑business‑day turnaround.
- AR duties: daily invoice management; archive shipping and related documentation; process payments.
- Discrepancy resolution: investigate and resolve account discrepancies, collaborating with other departments.
- Customer communications: follow up on past‑due payments, handle inquiries about accounts, payments, and billing; maintain positive relationships.
- Vendor and customer correspondence by phone and email; review statements and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Customer Service personnel; complete other duties as assigned.
