Duties of the Tax Preparer- Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax laws.
- Advise clients on deductions, credits, and tax-saving strategies.
- Maintain accurate client records and file tax returns electronically.
- Answer client questions and provide guidance on tax issues.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and provide audit support as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in accounting/finance preferred.
- Experience with tax preparation and tax software (e.g., Lacerte, Pro Series).
- CPA or EA a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- $50,000-$85,000/year BOE and great benefits
