- Support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, data entry, and general accounting functions
- Enter financial data accurately into accounting systems such as Quick Books, Sage, Net Suite, or similar
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with invoice processing, payment applications, and collections activities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and supporting documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements as needed
- Maintain vendor and customer records and respond to account inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team
- Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred - Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience with accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, Net Suite, or similar systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, nonprofit, or corporate environment
- Exposure to payroll processing and account reconciliations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
