SENIOR ASSOCIATE, TAX

Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex tax returns (individual, corporate, and partnership)
  • Analyze tax issues and provide conclusions
  • Prepare quarterly and year‑end estimates to assist clients with tax planning
  • Perform diversified accounting, auditing, and tax assignments under the direction of a supervisor, manager, or partner
  • Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards
  • Meet time constraints and client deadlines
  • Assist staff associates with technical knowledge
  • Develop strong client relationships and loyalty
  • Participate in firm training courses to further develop technical skills
  • Deliver excellent client service with high‑quality work, quick turnaround, and attentive communication
  • Conduct tax research using the firm’s reference sources
Qualifications
  • Qualified to sit for the CPA exam; CPA certification preferred
  • At least 3 years of public accounting experience with a progression in tax return complexity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills for a heavy workload
  • Team‑player with a collaborative mindset
