Position: Now Hiring Full Charge Bookkeeper OKC and Tulsa

Okie Staffing is hiring an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. This role is a great fit for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing bookkeeping responsibilities with advanced Quick Books knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Quick Books
, chart of accounts, billing, invoicing, expense tracking, account reconciliation, and general bookkeeping functions. Sales tax knowledge is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and help with supporting the day-to-day accounting needs of the business.

Duties may include:

  • Manage bookkeeping functions using Quick Books or similar accounting software
  • Maintain and understand the chart of accounts
  • Process billing, invoices, payments, and expense tracking
  • Track accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting and account review
  • Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
  • Communicate professionally with internal team members, vendors, and customers
  • Assist management with accounting-related questions and reporting needs

Requirements

  • Prior bookkeeping experience required
  • Advanced Quick Books experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of chart of accounts and general ledger activity
  • Billing, invoicing, and expense tracking experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • Comfortable working in a mid-volume industrial office environment
  • Sales tax knowledge is a plus
  • Must be dependable, professional, and able to meet deadlines
Preferred Experience
  • Industrial, construction, manufacturing, service, or distribution industry experience
  • Experience handling multiple accounts, vendors, or job/customer billing
  • Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills
  • Experience preparing reports for ownership or management
  • Will require a national background and drug test
