Accounting - Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary

Responsible for performing a range of account entry and reconciliation activities to provide support to the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions.

• Verify the accuracy of invoices and other billing statements.
• Code and enter invoices for payment.
• Print checks/ACH for payment.
• Review employee expense reports and issue checks including coding, entering and distribution.
• Prepare invoices and supporting documentation for scanning.
• Assist in the preparation of 1099s.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Highly organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time.
• Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
• Ability to interact with personnel at all levels in the company and with outside vendors.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or 3 to 9 hours of accounting preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of previous experience in accounts payable required.
