Our tech stack includes Canopy (workflow & practice management), Ultra Tax, Blue J (tax research), and Safe Send (tax return delivery), and we continue to actively invest in automation and process improvement to reduce manual work. We have busy season targets of 55-60 hours per week with partners actively monitoring capacity and reassigning work when needed to stay within that range.

We're seeking a skilled Tax Senior to prepare and review complex returns, support client relationships, and help develop our staff. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing individual and business returns, conducting tax research, and reviewing staff work. Job Duties
The Tax Senior will play a critical role in our firm by:
- Preparing and performing first‑level review of federal and state returns for individuals, corporations, passthrough entities, and nonprofit organizations.
- Supporting client relationships by responding to inquiries, gathering information, and communicating directly with clients throughout engagements.
- Conducting tax planning and research on federal and state tax matters.
- Coaching and mentoring tax staff, reviewing their work, and providing timely feedback to support their professional development.
- Collaborating with managers and partners to improve processes, meet deadlines, and identify opportunities to add client value.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience in a tax position.
- Strong technical skills, complemented by research, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Experience working with workflow software and with paperless document management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Competitive Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and skills plus annual bonus.
