Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and driven Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic accounting and finance team. The role involves managing tax operations, ensuring compliance, and optimizing tax liabilities. Leadership and career advancement opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

Review and manage the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.

Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects across industries.

Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.

Conduct tax research and remain current on new tax laws and regulations.

Manage, develop, and mentor members of the tax team.

Serve as the primary engagement manager overseeing billing, realization, and collections.

Develop and sustain strong client relationships.

Advise clients on corporate tax services including planning, research, and M&A activities.

Work with a multidisciplinary team to maintain client relationships.

Manage risks and financial performance, including billing, collections, and project budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; master’s in Taxation desirable.

CPA certification or equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend.

Proficiency in tax planning, compliance, and strategy.

Extensive experience with S Corp, partnership, and corporate tax planning.

Leadership, problem‑solving, and strong verbal/written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

Excellent project management and analytical skills.

Strong organizational and management skills to lead multiple projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software.

Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites.

Strong client relationship management and solution‑orientated skills.

Commitment to exceptional client service in a dynamic environment.
