Job Duties:

Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

Maintaining historical records

Pay employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks

Pay vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance

Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

Continuing to improve the payment process

Proven accounting experience as an accounts payable clerk

Familiarity with accounting procedures

Proficient in MS Office software

First-hand experience with creating and editing spreadsheets

Aptitude for numbers with a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to perform filing, data entry and record keeping tasks

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Strong analytic abilities

Strong time management and organizational skills
