Payroll Administrator - Temp-to-Hire

Location:

Tulsa, OK | 100% Onsite

Pay: $55,000-$65,000 DOE

Duration: 90+ Days | Strong Potential for Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's team in Tulsa. This role is responsible for processing accurate, timely multi-state biweekly payroll and serving as a key point of contact for employee payroll questions. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to calmly resolve and de-escalate employee concerns.

Key Responsibilities

+ Process biweekly, multi-state payroll through ADP Workforce Now

+ Review timesheets, timecard totals, payroll reports, and payroll registers for accuracy

+ Process payroll adjustments, deductions, final pay, and related paperwork

+ Calculate and process employee with holdings and deductions

+ Process garnishments, support orders, and tax levies

+ Handle a high volume of payroll inquiries and resolve issues professionally

+ Troubleshoot timekeeping/time clock issues with field operations

+ Audit employee pay records, tax information, and payroll documentation

+ Assist with payroll tax, accounting, and internal/external audits

+ Process quarter-to-date/year-to-date adjustments and support W-2 preparation

+ Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations

+ Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information

+ Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

Requirements

+ 3-4+ years of payroll experience

+ ADP Workforce Now experience required

+ Strong Excel skills required

+ Workday experience is a plus

+ Multi-state payroll experience strongly preferred

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills

+ Ability to de-escalate concerns and represent the payroll team professionally

+ Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

+ Strong organizational and time-management skills

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ AA degree in Accounting, Business, or related field highly desired;
Bachelor's preferred
