**** Recruiter:
Neelam Patel  /   The Staff Accountant is a key member of the Controller’s organization, responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial accounting and reporting. This role manages month-end close processes and provides critical analysis to regional and corporate leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

* Financial Accounting & Reporting:
Lead month-end close activities, including ledger account analysis and the preparation of complex journal entries.
* Strategic Analysis:
Conduct detailed research and internal reporting to provide actionable financial insights for Division and Corporate stakeholders.
* Audit & Compliance:
Support internal and external audit requirements and execute high-priority ad-hoc projects.
* ALABS

Collaboration:

Act as the primary liaison for shared services (AP, Billing, Fixed Assets), ensuring seamless operational alignment per the RACI matrix.##                         ## ## Are you a MATCH?
**** Required Qualifications
***** Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
* Minimum of 1-2 years financial accounting and/or financial reporting experience.
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of general accounting matters and IFRS/GAAP.
* Strong 'client service' mindset and ability to work well with internal customers and external parties.
* Capable of prioritizing responsibilities on a daily basis to meet required deadlines.
* Exhibits customer-focused behavior such as building positive relationships and strives to understand customer's needs, both internal and external.
* Ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically and professionally.
* Apply analytical skills through critical thinking with an ability to perform creative problem-solving.
* Intermediate computer skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Excel).
**** Preferred Qualifications
***** Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems.
