Our Client, a premier public accounting and tax advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its Tulsa, Oklahoma office
. This is a senior-level technical position responsible for preparing and reviewing complex federal and state tax returns, supporting strategic tax planning, analyzing financial information, and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of Senior or Manager-level public accounting experience and proven expertise with multi-entity organizations and sophisticated tax engagements.

Compensation
: $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Tax preparation:
Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other entities. - Tax review:
Review tax returns and supporting work papers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. - Client engagement management:
Take ownership of multi-entity client engagements from planning through completion. - Tax planning:
Develop and implement tax strategies to improve client positions. - Financial analysis:
Analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and account activity to support accurate reporting. - Client communication:
Communicate directly with clients, explain complex tax concepts, and manage expectations. - Compliance research:
Ensure filings comply with federal, state, and local requirements; stay current with tax law changes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of Senior or Manager-level experience in public accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise handling complex tax engagements and multi-entity clients.
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns.
- Proven ability to independently manage client assignments.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and reconciliations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively within a hybrid schedule in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active CPA license (preferred but not required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience managing large or complex business clients.
- Strong tax planning and advisory background.
- Experience reviewing work prepared by junior accountants.

Work Schedule
