Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to support accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on manufacturing accounting experience and be an expert user of SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage month-end and year-end close activities

+ Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries

+ Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, variances, and financial data

+ Partner with operations and finance teams to support plant performance

+ Identify and implement process improvements

+ Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and controls

Requirements:

+ 4+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment - required

+ Expert-level SAP experience - required

+ Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and inventory

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
