The Senior Accountant position is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for various financial functions and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial records. This role is responsible for providing Accounting and Financial support s individual will be responsible for day-to-day accounting in addition to company project contributions like cash forecasting, monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgeting, and working alongside our CPA.

- In this role, you will assist with the preparation of balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- You will be responsible for profit and loss (P&L) analysis, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the company's financial performance.
- Responsible for managing and inputting bookkeeping entries.
- Responsible for timely posting of payroll
- Manage and execute bank reconciliations to maintain precise financial records and ensure financial stability.
- Perform weekly and monthly invoicing, maintaining a consistent and accurate invoicing process.
- Collaborate closely with the COO to streamline financial operations and support the organization's financial goals.
- Take charge of preparing detailed financial statements, providing insights into the company's financial health and aiding decision-making processes.
- Perform general cost accounting and other related duties
- Manage collection of outstanding accounts receivable and ensure that adequate working capital is in place
- Ensure accuracy of payments and verify reasonability
- Accurately reconcile accounts, clear journal entries, and generate cash flow reports monthly
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
- Ensure that all required monthly and quarterly banking reporting is completed timely and accurately
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of Accounting experience
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, processes, and procedures
- Strong understanding of General Ledger and Income Statement
- Ability to interact with and improve financial systems through innovation and automation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- The ability and aptitude to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with Quick Books preferred
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
