Bookkeeper

Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-time; in person

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily accounting and administrative operations for our client in Tulsa, OK. This position will work closely with the operations team and will be responsible for processing invoices, preparing payments, recording deposits, processing payments, and preparing financial and membership reports.

The ideal candidate will have previous bookkeeping experience, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience using Quick Books.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare bank deposits and record deposits in the membership management system.
  • Record invoices and prepare checks for payment using Quick Books.
  • Prepare monthly statements for mailing.
  • Prepare miscellaneous invoices as needed.
  • Process credit card and ACH payments.
  • Prepare accounting, financial, and membership reports as requested.
  • Prepare reports for finance meetings and attend monthly meetings as needed.
  • Collect RSVPs and payments for events and dinners.
  • Provide phone and front-office backup.
  • Maintain organized files and complete filing duties.
  • Assist with general administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience using Quick Books is required.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
  • Ability to accurately process invoices, payments, deposits, and financial records.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
  • Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, professional attitude.
