Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst, Cost Accountant, Accounting Manager
Perform monthly accounting close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Analyze and maintain plant-related gross margin activities, inventories, and balance sheet accounts.
Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages and variance analyses.
Monitor and analyze plant processing performance, recoveries, and operational metrics that impact gross margin and financial results.
Perform detailed trend analysis of revenues, expenses, production volumes, and plant efficiencies to identify unusual items and opportunities for improvement.
Support accounting and reporting for gas processing plants and related upstream assets.
Reconcile operational data to financial records and investigate variances.
Coordinate with operations personnel to ensure accurate accounting treatment of plant activities.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
Participate in the development, documentation, and enhancement of accounting procedures and internal controls
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSA minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is required.
Minimum 3 years of plant accounting experience within the energy, oil and gas, midstream, upstream, manufacturing, or industrial sector preferred.
Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting processes.
Knowledge of GAAP and internal control requirements.
Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Regular and Reliable Attendance.
PREFERRED QAULIFICATIONSStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with plant accounting, operating expense analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting systems preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
