Accounting Supervisor

System One is assisting a growing company near Tulsa with a search for an Accounting Supervisor. This position leads core transactional accounting processes and helps keep day-to-day accounting activities running smoothly. The role works closely with internal teams to support accurate reporting and timely processing.

 Responsibilities:

+  Supervise daily accounts receivable and accounts payable activities to ensure accurate, timely processing

+  Lead workflow management and support an efficient, service-oriented process for internal stakeholders, taking initiative to suggest process improvements

+  Reconcile subledgers and resolve discrepancies impacting payments or collections

+  Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and accruals

+  Ensure customer invoicing is accurate using shipping documents and milestone/progress billing data as applicable

+  Monitor customer credit limits and support actions that reduce bad debt exposure

+  Coordinate multi-state sales and use tax compliance, including taxability setup, return preparation, and remittance

+  Manage exemption/resale certificate collection and recordkeeping for tax-exempt customers

 Requirements:  

+  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

+  3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable. Supervisory experience highly preferred.

+  Strong understanding of core accounting principles (including GAAP-based practices)

+  Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems

+  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+  Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

+  Strong work ethic with a positive attitude

Salary: $85K - $90K
